A leaking flat roof is more than just a nuisance—it’s a threat to your property’s structural integrity. At Doctor Roofing Construction, we understand the stress that water ingress causes. We don’t just patch up leaks; we restore your peace of mind with expert craftsmanship and industry-leading materials.

Common Flat Roof Issues We Solve

Standing Water & Ponding

Is water sitting on your roof long after the rain stops? Ponding is a sign of poor drainage or structural sagging. We realign your roof’s fall and reinforce the deck to ensure a dry, safe, and long-lasting surface.

Cracks, Leaks & Blistering

Weather damage causes old felt to crack or bubble. We pinpoint the source of ingress and provide seamless repairs using high-grade GRP or EPDM, preventing water from reaching your timber and insulation.

Failing Seals & Edge Joints

Leaks often start at the edges, chimneys, or joins. Our specialists reinforce these weak points with professional-grade flashing and bonding, making your entire roofing system 100% watertight once again.

Our Simple 3-Step Process to a Leak-Free Roof

We believe that getting your flat roof repaired should be stress-free and transparent. From your first call to the final inspection, we follow a proven process designed to give you total peace of mind and a long-lasting, watertight result. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Used Doctor Roofing Construction. Thomas the main man was excellent from the 1st meeting.. I had a major leek on the side of my roof bringing the toilet ceiling down.. He did a thorough inspection with photos. With his advice and knowledge Thomas striped down and replaced all the rotten struts and damaged tiles. Even renewed and redirected my guttering that was causing some of the issues.
I decided to use Thomas for my other projects that needed sorting.
I had the 2 flat roofs re felted and new cladding for the house... Excellent service and value.. I had a problem a year later that Thomas came back and sorted with no cost straight away... Very professional and polite....
3 other companies neither even returned my calls. Thank you Dr roofing.
A real pleasure
Kind regards Andy

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My restaurant had very serious issues with a leaking flat roof and other problems with missing roof tiles. Tomasz and his team did a really wonderful job and made the building watertight which in the light of this winter’s rain was very much needed. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Great work, very tidy and knowledgeable.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolute star. Came out early on a Sunday morning after we got home from holiday to find water pouring through our roof into the bedroom. Tomek very quickly identified the issue and was able to fix it there and then removing and replacing the damaged tiles liner and mortar. He also cleaned out our guttering and removed a climbing plant that we had not realised was causing the damage.

Despite all the ongoing rain we have had no further issues.

Very reasonable rates , very clean work and took away all broken things as well.

Would highly recommend.

Flat Roof Repair: Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about your flat roof? We believe in total transparency and helping our customers in Andover make informed decisions. Below, we’ve answered the most common concerns regarding repair costs, materials, and durability. If your question isn’t listed, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our expert team.

How much does a flat roof repair cost in Andover?

The cost depends on the extent of the damage and the materials needed (GRP, EPDM, or Felt). We provide a free, no-obligation inspection followed by a fixed-price quote. This ensures you know the exact cost before any work begins, with no hidden surprises.

Is it better to repair or fully replace my flat roof?

If the structural decking is sound and the leak is localized, a professional repair is often a cost-effective solution. However, if the roof has reached the end of its lifespan or has widespread saturation, we may recommend a replacement. We always provide honest advice on the most durable and budget-friendly option for you.

How long will a professional flat roof repair last?

When carried out with premium materials like GRP fibreglass or high-grade EPDM rubber, a professional repair can last for 15 to 20 years or more. We take pride in our workmanship and provide a solid guarantee on all our repairs for your peace of mind.

Can you carry out repairs during the winter or rainy weather?

While some materials require dry conditions for perfect bonding (like GRP), we have emergency repair solutions and temporary sealing techniques to protect your property immediately. We always monitor the weather in Hampshire closely to ensure we apply the final, permanent fix during the optimal window.

How long does a typical flat roof repair take?

Most minor to medium repairs can be completed within a single day. Larger refurbishments might take 2-3 days. Our team in Andover works efficiently to minimize disruption to your home or business, ensuring the site is left spotless upon completion.
